About the Department
The department of Computer Science was established in the year 1989 and elevated to PG department in 2003 and to research department in 2008 to meet the demand for well - qualified computer professionals. The curriculum reflects the depth and width of computer science, with hands on experience in current technology.
The department has so far produced 48 rank holders in Thiruvalluvar University. It also offers a conducive atmosphere for research scholars to pursue research in digital image processing, data mining, networking, cloud computing and big data analytics.
