About Department

Department of English was initially started as an ancillary department offering Part II language and became major department in 2003. It was upgraded into Post graduate department in 2008 and recognized as Research department in 2012. It conducts Bridge Course for I-UG students. It also conducts seminars and invited video lectures. The Department Library has good collection of Books for English Language and Literature. “Koffee House Club”, the Department Association, plays active role in training its students.
